The Brightside - Toddler Party Menu 🥧 🥕🥨🧁
Real Food, Little Hands, Zero Stress:
Toddler Party Spread By Taylor Everingham @eatingwiththeevos

With Tanah's second birthday coming up, I've been planning the menu almost as much as the party itself. Because he's mostly dairy-free, I wanted to come up with food ideas that felt fun and special but could still be enjoyed by everyone.
This year we're celebrating at his gymnastics centre, so finger foods that are easy for little hands to grab and eat are at the top of my list. We even have access to an air fryer at the venue, which makes serving warm food so much easier.
If you're planning a toddler birthday too, here are some of the homemade party food ideas we will be making. Most can be prepared ahead of time, and my little boy loves to help out cooking which is such a fun activity to do leading up to the party.
My Simple Menu Ideas for a Toddler Birthday Party
Of course we'll still have some of the classic party favourites: Things like plain kettle chips and Funday lollies are always popular, but I love balancing those with a few homemade options that both kids and adults can enjoy.
● Hidden veggie sausage rolls
● Homemade mini ham & pineapple pizzas
● Avocado & tuna Sushi
● Fruit skewers
● Mini ham and avocado sandwiches
● Banana mini muffins
● Choc chip cookies
● Homemade pikelets with jam
● Watermelon stars
● Veggie sticks and dip

Hidden Vege Sausage Rolls Recipe
These are always a hit and you can even prepare them the week before and freeze them and bring them out to cook on the day.
Ingredients:

- ½ onion finely diced
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 zucchini grated
- 3 sheets of puff pastry
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce

In a large combine bowl combine the onion, zucchini, carrot, beef mince, garlic powder, onion powder, tomato sauce, bbq sauce, 1 egg and combine well.

Add in the mixture along the middle.
Then fold over the pastry and press your fork to hold the 2 edges together.
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut the sausage rolls in small pieces approx 2-3cm long. (this recipe should make around 35-40).
Place them onto the baking paper and brush with an egg wash and top with sesame seeds and some cracked salt.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden at 180 degrees.
Enjoy with some tomato sauce or chutney and enjoy!.
