Terms & Conditions

We Are All Artists – Kids Art Competition 2026

1. Eligibility

a. The competition is open to children aged up to 12 years old.

b. Entrants must have parental or legal guardian consent to participate.

c. Employees of Banabae Pty Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Artwork Submission

a. Each entrant may submit up to three artworks.

b. Artworks must be original creations of the entrant and must be inspired by the 2026 theme: The Artist's Studio.

c. Artworks must be submitted in digital format via email to hello@banabae.com with the subject line 'We Are All Artists'. The email must include a clear photograph or scan of the artwork, as well as the artist's first name and age. Please keep the original artwork in case your child wins or the submitted image is not deemed high-resolution enough to be included in the exhibition.

d. By submitting artwork, entrants and their guardians grant Banabae Pty Ltd the right to use and reproduce the artwork for promotional purposes related to the competition and future Banabae products.

3. Competition Dates

a. Entries open: 17th June 2026.

b. Entries close: 19th July 2026. Entries received after this date will not be considered.

c. The online art exhibition will go live on 23rd July 2026.

4. Judging

a. Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, and suitability for print design on clothing or accessories for next year's collection.

b. The judging panel will consist of members appointed by Banabae Pty Ltd.

c. The decision of the judging panel is final and binding.

5. Prizes

a. The winner of the competition will have their artwork turned into a design for clothing or accessories to be sold by Banabae Pty Ltd. The winner will also receive a $500 Banabae store voucher.

b. Each of the four runners-up will receive a $50 Banabae store voucher.

c. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6. Announcement of Winners

a. Winners will be notified via email or telephone within 14 days of the competition closing date, 19th July 2026.

b. Winners must respond to the notification within seven days to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Display of Artworks

a. All artworks entered into the competition may be displayed on the Banabae blog as part of an online art exhibition.

b. Artwork may be credited to the entrant by first name and age only, unless otherwise requested by the entrant or their guardian.

8. Rights and Permissions

a. By entering the competition, entrants and their guardians grant Banabae Pty Ltd the right to use their name and likeness and submitted artwork for promotional purposes without further compensation or notification.

b. Banabae Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify, adapt, or reproduce the winning artwork for the purpose of creating a print design for clothing or accessories, without seeking additional permission from the entrant

9. General Conditions

a. Banabae Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the control of Banabae Pty Ltd impairs the integrity of the competition.

b. By participating in the competition, entrants and their guardians agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

c. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of NSW, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
