Lisa Desanctis is a woman who wears many hats. She is a successful fashion and lifestyle blogger, a home reno enthusiast over at @seewanthome and a women's health physio. Lisa takes us behind the scenes of her home life with her husband Daniel, son Freddie, adorable dog Pretzel and her baby bump - due in 2023.

Hi Lisa! Tell us all who is in your beautiful family.

Myself, my husband Daniel, my son Freddie, our dog Pretzel and our bump coming in 2023.

Where do you live? Does the ocean inspire your daily life?

We live in Melbourne's inner north but are lucky enough to have a beach house on the Mornington Peninsula, which we visit any chance we get. We absolutely love waking up by the sea and taking the boys to the beach. Freddie is just beginning to appreciate the sand and water, which is very cute. We find being by the water so relaxing and calming, a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of our city lives.

How has becoming a mum changed the way you look at business?

I certainly have a much more balanced approach these days, which is really nice. Freddie has opened my eyes to a much healthier work-life balance, and whilst my business is still my original baby, I certainly cherish my time away from work (and prioritise it) a lot more since becoming a mother!

Tell us about your role as a Women's Health Physio. Have you always done this, even before becoming a mum?

Yes, I studied physiotherapy straight out of high school and worked in the field for ten years before becoming a mother. I was always drawn to this area of physiotherapy and absolutely love helping mums-to-be, and new mums get the best from their bodies.

What's your favourite way to spend a sunny summer's day?

A quiet spot on the sand, under a shady umbrella with a cool drink. Otherwise, I also love taking the family boat out for the day and relaxing on the deck with a good book.

Any exciting plans for the summer ahead?

We will spend it at our beach house with family, lots of pasta (my husband's parents are Italian/Serbian) and plenty of beach time. I am going to be heavily pregnant by the time summer rolls around, so I plan on spending a lot of it floating in the ocean!
