The Dreamers #35 - Meet Jinti Fell And Her Family
Meet Jinti Fell. You may recognise Jinto and her beautiful family from the travelling life they have shared in squares (you can find her on instagram @jinti_fell).
We have been long time fans of Jinti and her nomadic journey as she and Chris grew their family on the road.
Now settled in Queensland with a new edition to the family, Jinti and Chris share a little of their every day with us for the Dreamers. Raising their kids out in nature whilst also pursuing their own passions and purpose.
WELCOME TO THE DREAMERS.
It is the 28th of March 2022, and my son turns three tomorrow!
I am Jinti - I am passionate about creating a beautiful life for our family. One where we lead by example and raise our kids together in nature while also pursuing our own passions and purpose.
Who is in your family?
We are Chris, Jinti, Ayana, Eyeam and Tashi.
Where do you live?
We have recently moved into a 135-year-old Queenslander in the country. It's so peaceful out here with lots of trees and birdsong.
What does a 'typical' day look like in your household?
How has your fresh little babe fit in?
It begins at 4am when Chris is up for the gym and ends around 9:30pm when we go to sleep (the kids go down around seven).
The in-between looks like a lot of playing, online work, breastfeeding, creating, messiness, home schooling and child-wrangling. We spend as much time outdoors as possible, and Tashi fits right in. She often sleeps in a carrier on either Chris or I, so that helps with keeping our days free-flowing.
What are your favourite activities to do as a family right now?
Campouts in the backyard!
Parenting life is all go. What do you do to fill your cup?
Jinti: Walks, connecting with friends, stretching and sun-bathing.
Chris: Being alone in nature and learning about things that interest me.
Your best parenting hack/s?
It's a non-negotiable for us each to get some time to ourselves! And also do less. We just love being together as a family. This is when we are our happiest. As someone who can be very out-going, learning to say no and minimise commitments has been really important.
What are your goals and resolutions for the new year?
1. Short term: launch the online course we have been working on.
2. This year: buy a family home.
Thanks so much,
